How To Add An “Extra” Time Stamp

Typically, you will create your timestamps from your agenda as detailed here but you may wish to add an “Extra” timestamp that isn’t part of your Agenda. We call these “floaters” and this article will explain what they are and how you create them.

What Is A Floater Timestamp?

These are timestamps that are not related to a specific Agenda item. In other words, you create them to provide more detail to your video when your Agenda doesn’t provide the information you wish to convey.

A good example of this would be if your board were to take a break. If you don’t have the break in your Agenda, you can add a Floater Timestamp so that you can index around the break. Another examples include special awards, weather events, or any time you wish to provide a little bit more detail.

Do Floaters Change My Agenda?

Absolutely not. Floaters only appear in the Timeline area of your player.
